The staff at Earl Mortimer College work relentlessly to secure the very best outcomes for our students and to ensure that they are able to have choices about their next steps. It is our aim that every student will leave the school to progress to either further education, higher education, apprenticeships or the world of work. We recognise that each student is different and has individual ambitions for their future.

All students are entitled to:

• find out about technical education qualifications and apprenticeships opportunities, as part of a careers programme which provides information on the full range of education and training options available to them;
• hear from a range of local providers about the opportunities they offer, including technical education and apprenticeships – through options events, assemblies and group discussions and taster events;
• understand how to make applications for the full range of academic and technical courses.

It is always important to us to consider the best interest of the individual student to whom the advice is given.

A number of events, integrated into the College Career Programme, will offer providers an opportunity to come into College and speak to students and/or their parents/carers.
