Admissions & Transport
Earl Mortimer College and Sixth Form Centre is part of the Leominster Cluster of Schools which includes Leominster Primary School, Luston Primary School, Stoke Prior County Primary School, Kimbolton St James CE, Bodenham, St Michael’s CE Primary School, and Ivington CE Primary School. We welcome applications from parents with students in these schools, however, we are also pleased to receive applications from a much wider area including Eardisland, Kingsland, Bircher, Yarpole and Orleton as you could now be eligible for FREE TRANSPORT to EMC as we are your nearest secondary provider.
We currently run our own School Minibus along the A49, providing free transport collecting students from Hereford, Marden & Wellington.
NEW FOR 2024: A minibus route to and from Tenbury, via Bromyard.
If, unfortunately, you live just outside the area designated for free transport we may still be able to subsidise your transport costs. If you would like to know more about this please contact Mrs Latham College Business & Finance Manager (finance@emc.hereford.sch.uk) or Mr Wharam, Assistant Principal (jwharam@emc.hereford.sch.uk).
To check if you are eligible for free transport please use the following link on the Herefordshire Council website https://www.herefordshire.gov.uk/education-and-learning/schools/nearest-school-finder
